Netflix recently announced that the ever-popular One Piece series is getting a 10-episode live-action show. In January 2020 Netflix announced a live-action One Piece series is in development with Oda working alongside showrunner Steven Maeda. Few updates emerged since that initial announcement largely because the coronavirus pandemic disrupted work.
The series will feature 10 all-new episodes and will be co-produced by Netflix and Tomorrow Studios. Wildly popular in Japan for over 2 decades rumors of a live-action One Piece have been abound for years but a recent announcement confirmed that Eiichiro Odas series would be finding its way to Netflix shortly with a 10-episode first season confirmed. For now the first four seasons as added by Netflix accounts for a total of 130 episodes.
After revealing that they ordered a live-action series for One Piece Netflix has now announced a release date for the anime series will be arriving on. A live-action Cowboy Bebop starring Jon Cho is also currently in production. Netflix too behind of them.

And Netflix is now bringing a live-action One Piece to its streaming service. Taking into consideration the sheer number of One Piece sagas and once FUNimation releases more of the English dub we could see more seasons arrive in the near future. But his greatest enemy proves to be his own pride.
